Applications are invited on the prescribed “ON LINE” proforma from eligible Indian Nationals (Domicile of Uttar Pradesh) for direct recruitment to the following positions of Assistant Engineer (Trainee) in Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) under backlog recruitment of SC/ST & OBC (non creamy layer).
Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Electrical : 116 posts (SC-64, ST-09, OBC-43)
Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Electronics : 13 posts (SC-07, ST-01, OBC-05)
Assistant Engineer (Trainee) Civil : 11 posts (SC-06, OBC-05)
Pay Scale : Rs. 8550-275-13500 (starting pay Rs. 9375/-)
Qualification :
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil Engineering from an recognised University/institute. Applications of OBC candidates having minimum 60% marks in aggregate and SC/ST candidates having minimum 50% marks in aggregate, will only be accepted.
Age : Minimum 21 years and maximum 35 years as on 01-07-2007.
Application fee : (1) A Crossed demand draft of Rs. 800/- only in case of OBC and Rs. 500/- in case of SC/ST candidates who are original inhabitants of Uttar Pradesh; drawn from any scheduled bank in favour of SECRETARY, ELECTRICITY SERVICE COMMISSION, LUCKNOW; payable at Lucknow should be enclosed with the Application form. Candidates must write their name, advertisement no., father's name, postcode, control number and the post applied for, on the back of the demand draft.
