Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is for a Configuration Engineer Trainee, performing configuration of Kenexa web-based software products for Kenexa client implementations utilizing skills such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, and related Web technologies. Working as part of a team that does what it takes to ensure success, you will implement and support Kenexa products to achieve high reliability and customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Utilizes online tools and XML mapping to configure Kenexa's web-based products for client's specific needs.
2. Uses HTML, XML, JavaScript and related Web technologies as a part of product configuration.
3. Fixes client-reported configuration requests.
4. Successfully works on multiple concurrent projects.
5. Effectively prioritizes and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment with a strong customer service orientation.
6. Provides clear, accurate and prompt communication to the team lead and client services team.
7. Works as a team player in a global project team environment split between India and the U.S.
8. Works closely with the QA and Development teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Desired Candidate Profile
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1. Any Engineering or Science graduate from a reputed university.
2. Excellent knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and related Web technologies.
3. Excellent analytical skills to extrapolate information and troubleshoot problems with great attention to details.
4. Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
1. One year experience working with Web technologies such as HTML, XML, JavaScript, and ASP.
2. Experience working in a product implementation or support environment.
3. Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Defect Life Cycle.
4. Exposure to the Human Resources domain and job applicant tracking systems.
