Service company or a startup for your first job?

firstsalaryStaff · 16 hours ago · 2 views

It's one of the questions freshers ask most, and there's no single right answer. Some things to weigh:

  • Training: big service companies often train freshers for weeks or months; startups usually expect you to learn on the job.
  • Pay: compare in-hand pay, not CTC.
  • The work: a client's project, an internal tool, or a product real customers use.
  • Growth: how long people stay, and how often they're promoted.
  • Bonds: check whether either offer has one.

Which did you choose, and would you choose it again? Reply with what you learned.
